A double monument is made up of two pieces. There is the horizontal piece that is called the "base" and the vertical piece that is called the "die". Certain sections within the cemetery require that this is the type of memorial you can use. It is for a double grave for two or four burials. The standard size of the "die" is 32" in length, 28" in height and 8" in thickness. The standard size of the "base" is 42" in length, 14" in thickness and 8" in height.
There are different color granites that you may choose from. Choosing a color other than gray, which is the standard, is a matter of preference.
